Terms of Service

Plain terms for a self-serve product. The parts that actually matter here are about consent and the shared sending reputation — those are the rules we enforce.

The service

MAAC GO Email lets you send email campaigns and transactional email. You sign up yourself, there is no contract, and you can stop at any time. We may change or discontinue features; if a change removes something you rely on, we will say so.

Your list, your permission

This is the one rule with teeth. You may only mail people who agreed to hear from you. Specifically, you may not:

• upload a purchased, rented, scraped or otherwise acquired list;
• mail addresses that unsubscribed, bounced, or reported you as spam;
• disguise who the email is from, or use a subject line that misrepresents the content;
• send phishing, malware, or anything unlawful where you or your recipients are.

Every campaign carries a working unsubscribe link, and unsubscribes, bounces and complaints are enforced automatically — you cannot mail a suppressed address, through the app or the API.

The shared sending domain

Until you verify your own domain, your mail leaves from a domain shared with other customers. That means your sending behaviour affects theirs. We therefore apply a daily cap, suppress a hard bounce on first occurrence, and may pause an account whose complaint rate threatens the shared reputation. Verifying your own domain removes that coupling — it is the recommended path before mailing a real list.

Free allowance and prepaid credit

• 3,000 emails per month, free, with a daily cap. Contacts are unlimited and never charged for.
• Past the free allowance, sends draw on prepaid credit. Rates are on the pricing page; the tier applies to the month's volume.
• Credit is bought in advance through Stripe. It does not expire, and it is not refundable in cash — if we cannot deliver a message you paid for, the credit for it is returned to your balance automatically.
• Free-plan mail carries a small "Sent via MAAC GO" line in the footer.

Suspension

We may pause sending on an account that breaks the list rules above, or whose bounce or complaint rate endangers other customers. A paused account keeps read access to its data. We will tell you why, and what would need to change.

Your data and ours

Your contacts, campaigns and content remain yours. We process them to run the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can export your contacts and suppression list at any time, and request full deletion by email.

API keys

An API key acts as your account. Keep it out of client-side code and public repositories; you are responsible for what is sent with it. Revoke a key in the app the moment you suspect it has leaked. Keys beginning sk_test_ never deliver mail.

Availability and liability

This is a self-serve product offered as-is, without an uptime guarantee. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to what you have paid us in the preceding three months. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan, and disputes belong to the courts of Taipei.
