A Mailchimp alternative that doesn't bill you for your list
This page is written to be useful rather than flattering. Mailchimp is a good product with more features than we have. The reason to look at us is a different billing model and a different scope — so here is both, plainly.

The difference that matters: what you're billed for
Mailchimp prices by how many contacts you store. We price by how many emails you send. That single difference reverses the economics of a large, occasionally-mailed list.
| MAAC GO Email | Mailchimp |
| Billed on | Emails sent | Contacts stored, per month |
| Contacts | Unlimited, always free | Counted against your plan tier |
| Free tier | 3,000 emails / month, no card | Limited monthly sends on a small contact cap |
| Commitment | Prepaid credit, no subscription | Monthly subscription per tier |
| Currency | New Taiwan Dollars | USD |
| Storing a list you rarely mail | Costs nothing | Costs every month |

What Mailchimp does that we don't
If you need any of these, Mailchimp is the better tool today and we would rather you knew now:
- Automation journeys — multi-step drip sequences triggered by behaviour. We have scheduled sends, not journeys.
- Subject-line split testing. We don't have it.
- Landing pages and signup forms. You bring your own list or import it.
- A very large template gallery — we ship 20 templates that adopt your brand colours, not hundreds.
- An integration marketplace and e-commerce revenue attribution.
What we do that Mailchimp doesn't
- One meter for marketing and transactional email. Receipts and one-time codes go through the same API, the same free allowance, the same balance, and — importantly — the same suppression list.
- An MCP server. Claude Code, Cursor and Codex can send mail, run a campaign a human wrote, and read the delivery report. Scoped so an agent cannot invent a campaign, issue a key, or spend money.
- No per-contact tax, so segmenting doesn't cost you and neither does keeping history.
- A path to LINE and SMS when you need them — same company, MAAC Enterprise, trusted by POYA, Nissan Taiwan and 800+ brands. Most Taiwanese brands need LINE eventually; most Western tools never offer it.
- Taiwan-based infrastructure — the application and database run in
asia-east1.
What is the same, because it has to be
These are table stakes and we treat them as such: SPF, DKIM and DMARC domain verification; one-click unsubscribe in the header, the way Gmail and Yahoo require of bulk senders; automatic suppression of unsubscribes, hard bounces and complaints, enforced on every path including the API; and a full per-recipient delivery record for every send.
Moving your list across
- In Mailchimp, export your audience as CSV.
- Import it here — headers are detected, duplicates and invalid rows are skipped, and you see the count before committing.
- Also export your unsubscribed and cleaned contacts and paste them into the suppression list. This is the step people forget: it guarantees someone who already opted out is never mailed again.
- Verify your sending domain before mailing a real list, so the reputation you build is yours.
One rule we enforce rather than merely state: you may only mail people who agreed to hear from you. Purchased or scraped lists are not allowed here, and unsubscribes are irreversible from your side.
